Erica Pulido

MS, Licensed Associate Counselor #37AC00754300

I believe all people have the inherent capacity for growth and self-awareness. As a counselor, I meet clients where they are and provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore themselves and their potential.

My professional passions include working with first responders, healthcare professionals, athletes, and high-achieving individuals. I specialize in supporting clients experiencing attachment trauma, people pleasing, medical trauma, anxiety, and occupational/performance-related burnout. I provide a safe, supportive space to address these challenges, build resilience, and reconnect with what matters most.

My approach focuses on building strong therapeutic relationships through trust, collaboration, and goal-setting. By understanding each client’s experiences we can move forward with therapeutic practices that are most meaningful and effective.

Theories of Influence & Experience

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Is an empirically validated trauma treatment that utilizes bilateral stimulation to process traumatic memories or other distressing life experiences. When a person is traumatized, their body stores the memory in a way that does not allot for healthy healing. Newer experiences can become outlined with earlier unprocessed trauma experiences and reinforce a negative response over and over. EMDR allows clients to reprocess the trauma memory and create a new response.

Attachment Therapy

Focuses on the relational patterns that shape how individuals connect, trust, and regulate emotions, supporting healthier relationships with self and others.

Narrative Therapy

Focuses on helping clients separate themselves from challenges, reframe experiences, and create empowering personal stories that enhance perspective and self-understanding.

Psychodynamic Principles

Focuses on unconscious patterns and how past experiences influence present emotions, behaviors, and relationships fostering insight and personal growth.
